Woźniak Legal (as one of the founding fathers of the New Circle) has been shortlisted for the Law Society’s Excellence Award for the creation and the development of an international legal network consisting of lawyers who used to work for the magic circle law firm Allen&Overy. The winners of the competition will be announced during the official gala in London in the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel on 17 October 2018. We keep our fingers crossed!
It all began in 2015. Several lawyers in Europe who used to work once for Allen&Overy and used to know each other from working together and playing football together, decided to set up an international elite network of law firms to promote international cooperation, integrity and quality. The network is now called The New Circle. The network initially included law firms in Hamburg (Ramin Loeschner LLP), in Milan ( Giovannelli e Associati), in Amsterdam (Janssen Broekhuysen), in Prague (Taubel Legal) and in Warsaw (Woźniak Legal). Other law firms (also ex-A&O) joined later on.
It is a great honour for us to be on the Excellence Awards’ list this year with such big names as Dentons, Holman, Fenwick, Willan or Llinks Law Offices from China. Kudos also to Poland for its growth and dynamic development. Poland is growing and expanding in almost every area.
The Law Society’s Excellence Award is one of the most important recognition awards in the legal world. This year it will be 12
th edition of this award.
Grzegorz Woźniak, the founder and managing partner of Woźniak Legal, said:
"We feel very honoured to be shortlisted for this prestigious award another year. We are keen to develop our international capacities further. We are proud to be the only Polish law firm recognized."
