IBA annual conference in Rome

Managing Partner Grzegorz Woźniak has been in Rome for the @International Bar Association annual conference this week.
 
The IBA annual conference is the largest gathering of the international legal profession and provide a superb opportunity to learn and make new contacts.
 
This year the topics included also the future of the law firm and the future of the legal profession as a whole. It was a great honour to be a part of the discussion shaping the future of the legal profession . Brilliant discussions on AI legal Solutions , Blockchain , Online Dispute Resolution and on many other hot topics will be long remembered.
 
On Thursday 11 October there was the annual IBA “World Cup” football tournament which has become now a bit of an institution. Anxieties regarding health and fitness of lawyers proved totally unfounded – the matches were very competitive and fierce. There is a long tradition of football matches in recent years in Buenos Aires, Madrid, Dublin, Vienna, Washington and Syndey.
 
The next annual conference (and the next football match) will take place in Seoul in September 2019.
