The launch of The Anglo-Polish Law Association (APLA) took place on 4th June 2019 in the offices of Mills & Reeve in London. It went really well! The official logo of APLA was unveiled during the inaugural meeting.
We are very bullish on the future of APLA. The UK law days in Warsaw are planned for 7-8 November. Then, the Polish law days in London will be in April 2020.
We have created The Anglo-Polish Law Association to be able to ensure a truly “World Class” forum to the rapidly growing community of English and Polish lawyers. There are plenty of lawyers involved in the UK&Poland cooperation. They need a forum to meet and talk on a regular basis.
Among the guests there were in particular Stephen Denyer, the Head of Strategic Relationships at The Law Society of England & Wales, Steve Terrett of The British Law Centre, Ania Tarasiewicz of Mills&Reeve, Tom Price and Michael Darowski of Gowling, Paul Marmor of Sherrards, Katarzyna Bogusławska and Aleksandra Kowalska of Carter Lemon Camerons as well as Damian Falkowski - an illustrious British barrister of Polish origin.
