The Polish-British Business, Trade and Investment (BTI) Forum is being held on 27-28 June. The topic of the BTI Forum concerns clean growth – “Building Clean Growth Together”. Panellists will speak on matters such as e-mobility, offshore wind farms and other renewables, as well as green finance. Speakers include Prime Ministers of both countries and high-ranking business representatives.
Both the UK and Poland have recently launched together a new partnership for developing e-mobility – “Driving Change Together”. Its aim is to develop a network of partnerships between cities and governments to design and build new electromobility platforms.
The BTI Forum was called by the Prime Ministers of Poland and the UK in December 2017. The first Forum concerned business trends and opportunities in both Poland and the UK and gathered over 200 high-level representatives of business, government and media.
During the Forum, Minister Graham Stuart of the UK and Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz of Poland announced that Johnson Matthey’s next generation battery production plant will be built in Konin, Poland, powering low carbon vehicles for the next decade.
