The English Law Day in Warsaw is a fantastic opportunity for English legal practitioners to meet with their Polish counterparts, to share expertise and develop international business relationships.
 
The Warsaw Bar Association (OIRP in Warsaw) in partnership with the British Law Centre and the Anglo-Polish Law Association (APLA) are organising the first annual English Law Day in Poland in November 2019. This inaugural conference marks the launch of APLA (which took place on 4 June this year), and will be held in Warsaw on 7 November 2019.

13:00-13:25 Damian Falkowski (barrister, Lincoln’s Inn) – „Fraud, asset tracing and recovery between the UK and Poland”
 
13:25-13:50 Mike Edge (solicitor, head of real estate at Mills&Reeve) – „The role of the property developer”
 
13:50-14:10     Kate Boguslawska (partner, Carter Lemon Camerons LLP) – “Directors’ duties and the new corporate governance rules”
 
14:25-14:50     Paul McCartney (partner, DAC Beachcroft LLP) – “Regulations concerning transactions and investments in hotel industry”
