An extraordinary meeting took place in Warsaw on 7 November 2019 at the initiative of Wozniak Legal and British Law Centre. The event was held at the premises of the Warsaw Bar Association.
It was a great pleasure to listen to some great speakers from the UK, including, Stephen Denyer, Head of Strategic Development at The Law Society, Lord Carnwath of Notting Hill, UK Supreme Court Judge, Paul McCartney and Campbell Dye of DAC Beachcroft, Simon Gamblin of Clyde & Co, Kate Boguslawska of Carter Lemon Camerons, Mike Edge, Head of Real Estate Manchester at Mills & Reeve, Ania Tarasiewicz of Mills & Reeve and barrister Damian Falkowski.
Each of the speakers gave fantastic presentations spanning a wide range of topics including environment law, fraud and asset tracing, director’s duties, intellectual property, current trends in M&A, the hotel industry and property development and the importance of cross border legal relationships between lawyers.
It was great to meet the delegates at the networking session and exchange views.
