We’re excited to share that Woźniak Legal will be attending the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference in Toronto this November. If you’re planning to be there, we would love to catch up in person.
From 2–7 November, Toronto will host one of the world’s premier gatherings for the legal community - the 2025 IBA Annual Conference. The event brings together lawyers, in-house counsel, judges, regulators, and other legal professionals from across the globe to exchange insights and explore the key issues shaping our profession.
This year’s programme features more than 220 sessions covering topics such as artificial intelligence in law, international taxation, human rights, corporate responsibility, legal technology, ethics, and risk management in emerging industries.
Keynote speakers include Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella (former Supreme Court of Canada), “Miracle on the Hudson” co-pilot Jeff Skiles, and human rights advocate Yulia Navalnaya.
Woźniak Legal will have a strong presence throughout the week. Our team members are actively engaged in IBA committee work, including the Asset Recovery Committee and the Dispute Resolution Committee. The IBA re-established the Asset Recovery Committee as an independent committee in 2023, providing a global platform for practitioners, policymakers, and experts to discuss best practices and developments in asset recovery. The committee organises conferences, seminars, and publications, and collaborates with other institutions in the asset recovery field.
If you’ll be at the conference, let’s connect and share perspectives on the future of law.
